I went in to upgrade my phone. I was helped by Brandon. I straight up said "I don't want to be paying $30+ a month for a basic phone, when I am have a smart phone for the same price or less." I didn't care if it was smart of basic I just wanted to pay a decent price. He went over the different options and actually explained everything. I don't always feel like I get the best service there but the last two times I have been there the service was very helpful and friendly!
I dealt with Shawn, he was great to deal with. Took care of my issues and had me up and running in no time. The rest of the staff was friendly and engaging while I was waiting. All around, one of the better cellular stores of any carrier I've been to.

Went in for help with my charger...with little or no concern, the "technician" said "you will have to go somewhere where they fix phones". I asked "where would I find someone to look at this?" and he said "you'll have to look up someplace." The rest of the staff just kept doing what they were doing, staring into screens. I was the only one in the store! Not one of them intervened with any customer service. Then I asked about replacing my flippie phone and he said it would cost me $199. C'mon, for a flippie phone? I have been a customer for over 20 years; I previously thought that meant something but not anymore. No offer of upgrade or any other service. I left...and nobody even looked up as I walked out.
NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give them a zero I would. I had great experience with other US Cellular stores and even US Cellular call center. I dropped my phone and knew I was due for an upgrade and went in to ask how to go about doing that. The woman just stared at me with a dumb look and the manager then came over and gave me an even dumber look. I wanted a phone, they sell phones... yet they looked like I said to them that I wanted to buy a unicorn. They couldn't say anything about the phones besides saying "these phones are what you can have" with pointing to the tiny amount of phones they had. [any other store not only handles this in a much more professional manner but would actually give me solutions]
A massive waste of space of a store and a massive waste of time of a staff. I had to ask them leading questions so they could try to follow along, hoping they would catch up and be able to help but just lead to more dumb looks and silence.
